Classical Kitchen – Townhouse

About This Project

Situated in a quiet alley, this old townhouse was restored to its former glory. The brief included blending the characteristics of the old house with the feel and amenities of modern living. Using Sivakashi Red Granite for the kitchen top and splash back created a perfect harmony with the natural beauty of this house of character. In order to leave the old stone exposed, the clients agreed to opt for a lower splash back with the only exception of the wall behind the hob whereby it was raised up to the hood for practicality purposes. This also created a feature in the kitchen itself with the vein of the material giving more interest to the room.
